About
Calling all members of #Yellowjacket Nation!
Make an investment today that will immediately impact a student tomorrow.
Our main focus this year will be to build up our MSUB Student Crisis Fund. Our goal is 90 donors - to represent the over 90 UNFUNDED Crisis Fund Applications.
Examples of what MSUB Student Crisis Fund helps cover :
- The ability to purchase a gas card for a student to get home in case of an emergency.
- The ability to purchase a jacket for a student during the winter season if they do not own one.
- Lack of funds to pay the graduation application fee ($50)
- Victim of a crime and school supplies/items were stolen
- Broken equipment utilized in an academic setting
We also invite you to support these other areas as well for #GivingTuesday:
- Yellowjacket Access Scholarship: The Yellowjacket Access Scholarship is a retention initiative that strategically targets students whose persistence is most impacted by financial need.
- Finish Line Scholarship: Too many students drop out for lack of financial support, leaving our institution with student debt and without a degree. The Finish Line Scholarship honors their determination while removing that last financial hurdle between an MSU Billings student and their commencement ceremony.
- Chancellor's Excellence Awards: Since 2002, the Chancellor’s Excellence Awards have been awarded annually to incoming Montana State University Billings first-year students who exemplify the institution’s core values of academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, and service to others — skills necessary to impact an evolving global community.
- General Athletic Scholarships: A donation to General Athletic Scholarships creates the most impact for our over 200+ student athletes competing in the Yellowjacket Jersey.
