Help Yellowjacket History Students Present on a Regional Stage
Your support can open the door to a defining academic experience for Yellowjacket History students — taking their work beyond the classroom and onto a respected regional stage.
This spring, the MSUB History Club/Phi Alpha Theta chapter hopes to send two outstanding students to present their original research at the 2026 Phi Alpha Theta Pacific Northwest Regional Conference at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
Why This Matters
Presenting at a regional conference builds confidence, sharpens critical thinking, and prepares students for graduate study and professional careers.
MSU Billings students consistently present research that stands alongside that of peers at leading universities across the region, a testament to the quality of their education and preparation.
Beyond the presentation itself, students join a broader network of scholars, building connections and gaining experience contributing to a vibrant academic community.
How Your Gift Helps
Conference travel can be financially out of reach for some students. Your generosity ensures that talent and dedication — not circumstance — determine who participates.
By supporting Yellowjacket History conference travel, you are:
-
Expanding access to professional academic experiences
-
Strengthening confidence and scholarly excellence
-
Supporting pathways to graduate education and leadership
Every gift brings these students closer to sharing their work with pride and returning to campus inspired.
Your support doesn’t just fund travel — it fuels growth, opportunity, and the next generation of historians. 💛💙.
